What's the difference between a bonbon and a truffle?

The difference between bonbons and truffles is very subtle. Bonbons are moulded or enrobed with an outer chocolate layer and are filled with another ingredient, such as caramel or praline. Truffles have a chocolate center and are rolled in another ingredient, such as nuts or cocoa powder.
